yes. it is a custom for families in the USA to put at their window a star when one of their son had died in battle for the country. and YES!
God does have a star on His window too!
just like the sons of the families, He had died not only for a country, but all nations of the world.
That's how noble Our God is . Giving His one and only son for the world, to redemn us of our sins. :)

Daily Bread.
Joel 2:12
Now, therefore,” says the Lord, “Turn to Me with all your heart, with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning.
Conviction is God's warning light.
People will sometimes get distracted and slowly
get further away from God.
Let us not be like the people during the time of the prophet Joel ,
we have to remember that He is the one who gave us all.
Let's all come before Him with thanks giving and repentence.
Do not forget the Lord and what He has done for you even in times of prosperity.
Because prosperity is temporary, but He and His love is eternal.

December 9 Daily Bread
in today's daily bread, it talks about Solomon.
God asked Solomon of what he want for, Solomon did not ask for anything wordly, riches , long life.
however, Solomon asked for wisdom.
God is like a luminous ball. in times of happiness, we do not see His grace. but in times of darkness, His grace will shine , and only through dark times, we can see His Grace.

Acts 4:12
Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.
Jesus said, " I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me."
Yes, He IS the ONLY way.
He didn't say go to the idols, He didn't say go to people..
He said go to Him and Him only.
It is because of Him, that we have the grace to go to heaven.
As long as we built our foundation of faith on Him, our place in heaven is assured.
Our foundation can only be built on Him, not on anyone else, if not we are following the wrong path.
AMEN.

in today's daily bread, it talks about pleasing GOD.
How are we to serve God? are we gonna do things like what the galatia church did?
trying to please God through their own efforts rather than by reliance on Him.?
it's like trust.
we cannot buy trust with money, we can only earn trust from people through long term actions.
let's not please God through efforts, but by the reliance on the Holy spirit, instead of fooling ourselves.
for the holy spirit is the one that is behind us , supplying us the energy we need to press on.

Confession is an act of admitting we have done wrong
in the ways of the Lord and ask of His forgiveness.
As we become willing to confess and put down our pride,
thanksgiving comes in and we start to see all
that the Lord had done for us.
Whatever we have done wrong, we should confess and ask of His forgiveness.
okay, since Jon has left, and Grace will be away soon, will be left with me and madeline o.o

November 25 Wednesday Daily Bread
in today's daily bread, it talks about winning souls to Christ.
it takes alot to do so, but look at Paul, and Francis Asbury , they went through so much just to share one thing, and that is about CHRIST.
can we be like them? roaming around places , finding the lost.
there are many souls that have not even heard of Christ yet, and what are we going to do about it?
wait for a miracle that some one would come and tell Christ to them? noooooooooooo!
we'll be the first!!

broken relationships are like broken glasses . once broken and shattered , is hard to mend back .
but there is a difference in these ..
relationships could be mend back , with own power and strength , importantly , heart of guilt .
if you think you have done nothing wrong , and have pride , not confessing , whats th point ?
dont hold any grudges , for these all may become a more serious conflict .
Like we confess our sins to God , and He forgiven us .
who have we not forgiven ?
is th relationship seeming good after broken ?

in today's daily bread, it talks about helping our fellow brothers and sisters.
when Christians fall down, and when we do see them do so, are we gonna stand there and look ?
NO!
let's be useful, and let's take action. let's all take a step forward and help our fellow christian mates in need
cause if it were to happen to us, of course we want people to do the same to us.
so in the near future, let's all help and encourage our fellow bros and sisters : )

Sometimes, when we have everything we need,
money, love, materials, friends and other things, we tend to shove away God from our lives.
They think, why do we need a God when everything is in order, everything is smooth sailing.
Well, dont be too proud.
Maybe all of this is God doing his work, blessing us with all these thigns.
That is why we must not be proud of ourselves.
Always depend on God and put Him first.
When everything is in order, do not forget God.!

God may seem unreasonable to some , because He allowed Satan works to be done .
BUT , think , if there wasnt these faith tests , will we be strengthen ? or just a fake ?
Praise Him in all cirbcumstances , for God has His own plans for us .
Never go against it , for it is the best for us .
