Todays daily bread tells me to follow our lord God WHOLEHEARTEDLY. Because, serving the Lord is out of DELIGHT and not out of duty. Yes, serving the Lord may not be easy, i agree, as temptations may come, trials may come, persecutions may come, but as we stay strong in the Lord, we will definately pull through.
Todays daily bread also teach me that we should OBEY and only FOLLOW the Lord God, and not worship any other Gods or Godesses. The Lord is very serious about this matter, as in Deutronomy 30:17-18 , The bible stated that if we turn away and are not obidient to God, and if we are drawn away or worship any other God, we will CERTAINLY BE DESTROYED and that we will NOT live LONG.
Yes, we should OBEY the Lord as every command that He gave us is ESSENTIAL and that we should not doubt the command that He have for us, or to doubt any plans that He have for us, as God's plan are ALWAYS PLEASING AND PERFECT!
