Daily bread.
Today's daily bread teaches me about the humility that Jesus has gone through for us. The main purpose for Him to came to Earth to be served, but for Him to serve us. Imagine, the Lord our God sent His son to serve us? He did this because He loves us SO MUCH!
Jesus do not just dine with the priest or other 'godly' men, He dined with the people who were considered sinful.
Matthew 20:26-28
Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be your slave— just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many."
How can a servant not humble himself to know the heart of his master? Jesus humbled Himself just so He can be with us, understand us. Even if it's just a small act of love, we can feel it. Jesus, the one who died for our sins, humbled Himself, stained His precious blood on the cross.
WHY? for us! Today, if we start off faithful with the little things, even if no one sees, God will.. and that is all that matters (:
