God does have a star on His window too!
just like the sons of the families, He had died not only for a country, but all nations of the world.
That's how noble Our God is . Giving His one and only son for the world, to redemn us of our sins. :)

Conviction is God's warning light.

Let us not be like the people during the time of the prophet Joel ,
we have to remember that He is the one who gave us all.

Let's all come before Him with thanks giving and repentence.
Do not forget the Lord and what He has done for you even in times of prosperity.

God asked Solomon of what he want for, Solomon did not ask for anything wordly, riches , long life.
however, Solomon asked for wisdom.
God is like a luminous ball. in times of happiness, we do not see His grace. but in times of darkness, His grace will shine , and only through dark times, we can see His Grace.

Jesus said, " I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me."
Yes, He IS the ONLY way.
He didn't say go to the idols, He didn't say go to people..
He said go to Him and Him only.

It is because of Him, that we have the grace to go to heaven.
As long as we built our foundation of faith on Him, our place in heaven is assured.
Our foundation can only be built on Him, not on anyone else, if not we are following the wrong path.

in today's daily bread, it talks about pleasing GOD.
How are we to serve God? are we gonna do things like what the galatia church did?
trying to please God through their own efforts rather than by reliance on Him.?

it's like trust.
we cannot buy trust with money, we can only earn trust from people through long term actions.
let's not please God through efforts, but by the reliance on the Holy spirit, instead of fooling ourselves.
for the holy spirit is the one that is behind us , supplying us the energy we need to press on.

thanksgiving comes in and we start to see all
that the Lord had done for us.

Whatever we have done wrong, we should confess and ask of His forgiveness.

dont hold any grudges , for these all may become a more serious conflict .
Like we confess our sins to God , and He forgiven us .

but i believe that all they want is to serve God.

in today's daily bread, from the bible reference, it tells us that WE make up the BODY of Christ.
it's like our body, without a part, the body will suffer.
and like the church. we gotta stick out to one another, love one another
and using the gifts we have from God, we use it to edify one another, increase our faith!
even at times of despair, when we feel that we are lonely, sad, alone
GOD will send His believers to us, for God makes use of His people!

Sometimes when i come before God and ask Him to examine my heart
He will point out my faults and what i've done wrong.
This may make us feel uncomfrotable but yes, it is the truth.

He forgives us and is gentle when we come to Him.
It may be painful to hear the truth but we do not have to be afraid of approaching Him.
He is not harsh on us.

So we do not have to be scared when we confess to our Lord.
For He is kind and gracious.
Ask Him to examine our hearts and cleanse us.
He knows us and loves us,
maybe for some, they may feel uncomfortable to come before Him but He will always lead us through.

Today daily bread tells me that, DONT HIDE YOUR SIN.!
Confess and repent.
God knows everything even if we hide our sin.
He wanna know if we are bold enough or remorseful enough to confess them.
As when we confess our sins,
the Lord is faithfull and just and he will cleanse us from all unrighteousness!
Yes, Do not hide your sins anymore! confess to the Lord!
Repent. stop sinning! as all sinners will not inherit God's kingdom!

Turn away my eyes from looking at worthless things, and revive me in Your way.

Today's daily bread speaks into my heart.
With todays' technology, we can even have an electronic Bible in our phone or PDA.
There is little need for us to carry our Bible around and memorise the verses
because the phone has already done it for us.

However, i feel that it is important for us to remember His word because whenever
and wherever we may be, when we feel upset or need encouragements, His word will do it.
During thimes of tribulation, it will be almost impossible for us to even carry our Bible with us.
So as we memorise and remember the verses, no one can take it away.
Amen?

So as we remember His word, it will be our ultimate guide and encouragement.

Counsel in the heart of man is like deep water, but a man of understanding will draw it out.

Sometimes, we just don't understand someone,
or we THINK that we can't understand someone..
why of course we can!
Understanding takes time and fellowship..
When we understand a person, he/she will feel how much you care and love them..

It seems simple yet difficult at the same time,
so we have to ask of the Lord's grace to give us a good time of fellowship and understanding
when we spend time with our love ones..

today's daily bread tells us of the way we should be, and this daily bread is totally for us at this point of time, when we are having exams :D
so yeah, everyone might be busy with stuffs, and for us is examinations
but that does not give us the right to be busy with our things and not have time with God.
even if we had alraedy invited Jesus into our homes but we are still busy, WE are still busy.
so, let's make an effort to spend time with Jesus everyday
despite the long hours of studies.

remember! God gave us 24 hours.

The Bible tells us to love each other fervently .

That is the greatest love of all..

Life - LOVE = zero!
Without love , all that we believe is insufficient.
If you believe in Christ and do not love, you have not believed.
love will be inconvienient but we love others because OUR JESUS loves us..
In good times we enjoy and rejoice, but in times of need and trouble,
will you be prepared to lay down your life for your friends?

In today's daily bread, it talks about PRAYER.
it shows with the example of an old man with poor health struggling to kneel, just to pray.
this shows how much it took for the old man just to kneel.
We just have to apply this to ourselves, do we push and exert ourselves just to pray?
with this, i Believe that we will be much more mature in our walk with Jesus,
also strengthening our spiritual life and maturing in our spiritual growth.

In today's daily bread it talked about our faith for God
well basically as long as we pray with our heart and pray with faith
God will answer to our prayers as said in the dail bread book
"Whatever you ask in My name, that I will do , that the father may be glorified in the Son"--John 14:13" you can't just say verbally or pray verbally you must pray with your heart so God will see your faith for him.

We gotta let go of our bad behaviors whenever the holy spirit convicts us.
Surely, we all know our bad attitude and behaviors.
For example, being late,lazy, and all those things.
We gotta let go of them and we should grip on any attitude that helps us to follow Christ
and not drift us away from Him.
IF we really do not know what to let go off,
ask your friends, or church mates or church leaders.
They might notice something that u dont.
Maybe u cant see your bad side but surely people can.
Or better, ask GOD himself, and ask the holy spirit to convict u out of those attitude.
Be a good testimony for Him :D

Deuteronomy 6: 6-7
These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.

Now we may be young but today's daily bread is
an example of cultivating someones spiritual interest.
Maybe next time when we have children of our own or maybe even shepherds,
everything we do, everything we say, we do accordance to God's word
because your children will be setting you as his/her model.
As parents, they have to set a godly example for the children
as whatever the child sees, the child will follow.
Thus, the things that you teach them and the way you speak to them
will eventually mould them into the way you want to.

Troubles will come, temptations will come, persecution and many others
However through all these, we learn to keep our eyes on God.

Even Jesus endured!
If He did not endure and chose to give up, we would not have eternal life.
So, no matter how tough times may be
Proverbs 3:5 says ' Trust in the Lord with all your heart'
He will be our constant reminder to endure, s that when we leave the earth,
when we open our eyes, we be in His embrace.

He restores my soul. —Psalm 23:3

Pslam 23 is a chapter that describes God's care and how He treats us.
Even though we may seem to walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
no hope can be seen and only troubles surrounds us
God is the only one who can help us up, restore our soul and strengthen our spirits.

His love for us is indescribable.
Who are we that we deserve such great love, yet, when we fall and need someone by our side
God is there, giving us the peace and comfort in our hearts.
He is the solution to all problems, the source of all comfort and the roots of our strength.

Like a good shepherd, when the wolf comes, God does not leave us and let us save ourselves.
He guards and protect us.

We often get fall into traps of temptations .!

Laws are written by man , to control the society .
Love and be give by man , to spread to the world .
They maybe alliteration , but both , is distanced apart , one theory , another , LOVE .
God , may seem setting ' rules ' for us , to follow , so as to be His testimony .
If we think , reflect , why do He wants us to go abide to the laws ?
We doubt , if God is the ' government ' .
no ! He is our Father !
the Father that disciplines , cares and talks to us like our own best friend !

In our loves, there are bound to be trobles or despair.
However, He is enough.When we call and cry out to His name, comfort will fill us
With Him, we do not need to be afraid because He said
He Himself was presence enough to stop the howling storm and calm the raging seas.

When satan tempts Jesus, He uses the Word of God to help Him through.
When we need encouragement, we can constantly find comfort in reading His word.

however the purpose of it is the apply it in our lives.

By hearing the Word and not doing, we are just deceiving ourselves
and will later on forget what we understand and hear.

When we call out to the name of the Lord and seek for His forgiveness,
He will forgive.
When we cry out, He will change us from our wicked ways.
We are just like the wet cement, God is the constuctor.
As imperfect as we are, just like the ugly lump of cement,
will eventually become a wonderful creation of God.
But before that, we ourselves have to humble ourselves
seek in Him and confess our sins.
And He will change us.

and we need to be strong enough to know what is the true gospel.

so that we can fend off all these fake prophets and teachings.

This is because they are afraid to go an extra mile and may find it inconvenient.
Like the Samaritan, we ought to show our love and concern to not just people around us
but also anyone we see who is in need.
We must not let excuses overcome us, if not our compassion will never be shown.
Jesus went to the expence of hanging Himself on the cross and suffered for all humanity
this is the compassion that He shown to us.
Today as we see someone in need, all we have to do is to lend a helping hand
even if it is troublesome.

When we care for others, our care for them is greatly appreciated.
And when we care, we reflect Christ in us.

In the bible, Paul challanged us to be blameless and pure, so that

example, when we misbehaves and people look at us, they will think that why are we even christians when we dont behave like one.
Thus making a bad impression of our God.

As things that we see is temporary but things that is unseen is eternal.
We are living in Earth, and everyday we see it,
but one day Earth is going to have judgment day.
But the heaven is unseen for us now.
If we keep looking for the unseen and put our faith in Jesus.
We will claim the unseen. ETERNALLY!
so lets put our faith in Jesus.
Sometimes there might be disappointment, discouragement,

Galatians 5:13
Do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.

Freedom does not gives us the right to do what we pleases God.
He died for us so that He can redeem us and break us from the curse.
Now we have that freedom, but we must not use that freedom for self-indulgence.
We should use our freedom to share His love and grace, make Him who is the one and only God be known.

We have experience freedom in the spirit, so now it's our job to save others from the bondage.
We have to reply on the Spirit so that the Spirit can guide us through, not the flesh who only desire self-indulgence.
We all should use this freedom and build this kingdom of God.

in today's daily bread, it shows of the passage of adam and eve.
in this case, God gave them 2 freedom to eat anything in the garden of eden except the tree of knowledge.
look at how much pleasure and freedom adam and eve has!
but, due to temptation, Man fell, just because of the wrong interpretation from Eve.
this is what God did.
God gave us freedom to us, like how He given to adam and eve.
but also, He set up restrictions, protecting us. in adam and eve's case, is the tree.
God is not controlling your life.
He's just protecting us, so we can take a safe step everyday, walking to what's right.

On the day Jesus starts His rescue mission of man, it has never stopped.
We are given the honour and responsibility to be a part of it.
We have to be the ones who is willing to share the gospel.
To people on the highways and the byways, whoever we may know,
we must have the courage to share.

He has save us from the lake of fire.
He has forgiven our sins.
